We turned 75 today and to celebrate we had a lovely cake and gathering with representatives from across Berkshire as well as staff, visitors and volunteers.

The cake was very scrummy and was enjoyed by all who attended.

In tribute to 75 years of archival service in Berkshire, the only Royal County in the UK, we successfully applied for a Royal title.

Our new name is the Royal Berkshire Archives.

We will be updating our social media platforms and all our web content in due course so please bear with us as we move from being the Berkshire Record office to the Royal Berkshire Archives.
